Job Description: As a Full Stack Front End Platform Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of our software platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known workflows and frameworks. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure, thus, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
- Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.
- Write functional requirement documents and guides.
- Create quality mockups and prototypes.
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and help set technology standards and best practices for the front-end team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven work experience as a Front-end developer with exposure to full-stack development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles (or similar modern JavaScript frameworks)
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical needs
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
