GPIO Box
The GPIO Box (general purpose input/output) is an integral element in many asset tracking and management architectures.
It supports the STARflex with up to 8 input and output interfaces to devices such as sensors, actuators, switches, lamps, or other types of indicators.
The GPIO is powered directly from the STARflex RFID Reader over an RS-485 serial interface. Each device connected to the GPIO has a position ID that is mapped to the STARflex in the MCON software.
